The ‘Intese’ (Accords)

The confessions having entered into an ‘intesa’ (accord) with the State are the following: 

Waldensian Table (Law No. 449 of 11th August 1984, Law No. 409 of 5th October 1993);

Italian Union of Seventh-Day Adventist Christian Churches (Law No. 516 of 22nd November 1988 and Law No. 637 of 20th December 1996); 

Assemblies of God of Italy (Law No. 517 of 22nd November 1988); 

Union of Italian Jewish Communities (Law No. 101 of 8th March 1989 and Law No. 638 of 20th December 1996); 

Christian Evangelical Baptist Union of Italy (UCEBI) ( Law No. 116 of 12th April 1995); 

Evangelical Lutheran Church in Italy (CELI) (Law No. 520 of 29th November 1995). 

The above confessions, as entities with legal personality, are regulated by an ad hoc legislation whose implementation is dealt with by the Ministry of the Interior, within the limits of its mandate.
