Citizenship applications: the call centre service will terminate on 31st December

The call centre service delivered by the Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration of the Interior Ministry to provide information on both procedures for obtaining Italian citizenship and applications will be terminated on 31st December 2010.

The progress of processing your citizenship application can be always checked online, by using the service made available on the 'Cittadinanza' (‘Citizenship’) area of this website since 5th July.

To get access to the service, you just need to click the 'Consulta la tua pratica' (‘Check your dossier’) link and sign up by entering your personal data and email address. The database of dossiers can be searched by the registration number assigned to your application.
