Church owing fund thematic channel wins Eurocommunication 2010 award
The prize has been awarded to the Internet Portal of the Italian Interior Ministry during the conference-exhibition COM.Lab 2010 organised by the Italian Association of Public and Institutional Communication
'For the project La PA che si vede and for the creation of a thematic channel providing audio-visual materials focusing on cultural activities which highlight the artistic heritage of the Church owing fund of the Interior Ministry'. This is the motivation explained by the Italian Association of Public and Institutional Communication when awarding the Portal of the Interior Ministry the Eurocommunication 2010 prize.
Ms. Maria Virginia Rizzo, Director of the Internet Portal interno.it, received the prize yesterday during the third edition of 'COM.Lab 2010 Comunicazione e Tecnologie', a conference-exhibition on the theme 'Reti: Organizzazione, Comunicazione, Persone' (Networks: Organisation, Communication and People), organised by the Italian Association of Public and Institutional Communication in Bologna.
Eurocommunication awards have been recognizing and promoting best practices in communication sectors within the framework of initiatives supporting good governance and good citizenship all over Europe since 2000.
The thematic channel provides audio-visual materials focusing on cultural activities allowing people to become more familiar with the conservation, restoration and enhancement of the cultural heritage administered by the Church owing fund. A real ‘treasure’ preserved in more than 750 churches embellished with works of art, paintings and sculptures in our country. Press news on nation-wide celebrations, concerts and cultural events taking place in the historic buildings administered by the Church owing fund are also available on this web page.
