On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September, Italy will celebrate the European Heritage Days, an initiative launched by the Council of Europe in 1991 with the aim of strengthening both dialogue and cultural exchange among participating countries.
On this special occasion, a series of events promoted and coordinated by the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities will take place.
In Bologna, Florence, Rome, Pescara, Naples and Enna, guided tours of several churches and other historic buildings administered by the Fund will be organised.
Guided tours will be conducted by the civil service volunteers involved in the ‘Percorsi d’arte e cultura in Italia’ (Art and cultural itineraries in Italy) project run by the Fund, within the prefectures.
For each initiative, an information sheet including the timetable and further details is available.
